DART Professional Services Pool PWA 72: Amenity Pad Design and Construction Oversight

Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Dallas, TX · Civil Engineer

In this second DART contract award, the team manages design and construction oversight of ADA accessibility improvements at 200 bus stop locations across DART’s service area, including ADA ramps, sidewalks, and amenity pad enhancements. Justin provides civil engineering support with a focus on making recurring work more efficient:

  • Created a standardized Field Inspection Form so every inspector documented consistent information during site investigations.
  • Rebuilt the bid schedule process for all 200 locations, replacing separately maintained Excel tabs with a single master unit-cost sheet that automatically populates each location’s bid schedule, reducing labor and overall project cost.
