Kleberg Trail

City of Dallas Parks and Recreation, Dallas, TX · Project Engineer

Justin developed contract documents for a 1-mile trail along DART ROW between DART Buckner Station and Crawford Memorial Park, including rail removal, paving, grading, drainage, signing and striping, and safety enhancements. The design includes provisions for cost-effective future eastward expansion.

Veloweb Hike and Bike Trail

DART, Dallas, TX · Project Engineer

Justin prepared preliminary trail paving plans for the Cities of Dallas, Richardson, and Plano and completed temporary erosion control design for the entire 21-mile corridor from Jupiter Road to DFW Airport.

Southern Dallas County Veloweb Study

NCTCOG, Dallas County, TX · Project Engineer

Justin analyzed trail alignment and typical sections through multiple Southern Dallas County municipalities. At the US 67 and IH 35E crossings, he achieved vertical clearance with an innovative, constructible typical section that reused existing bridge abutments.

Bird’s Fort Park Creek Bank Stabilization

City of Irving, TX · Project Engineer

Justin designed site grading, a temporary trail alignment, and phasing to keep the trail open during construction, plus a canoe launch ramp, retaining wall, and rip-rap slope protection. He worked with the City’s geotechnical consultant to select feasible options given challenging soils, groundwater, flooding, and a limited budget.
